My name is Lauren and I have been making all kinds of changes recently. I work 3rd shift and that increased some of my already bad eating habits for convenience. I have embarked on a journey to live a healthier lifestyle and have found a love for cooking along the way, and now I want to share it with you.
I have been using the Weight Watchers program for over 3 years, and have loved it. It hasn’t always been easy and I've had many ups and downs, but so far I've lost 80lbs (even with all of the ice cream)! Weight Watchers is all about balance. When I started cooking, one of the hardest things for me was tracking home-cooked meals. That's why I've included Weight Watcher points and WW Freestyle Smart Points with all of my recipes. I wanted to create a site that would encourage people to stick with their programs with delicious meals that are easy to make, low in points, and full of flavor.
I've also created a lot of recipes for those with food intolerances. My mom has Celiacs and a few friends are lactose intolerant, so you'll find both gluten and dairy-free recipes on my site.
I am by no means an expert in nutrition, cooking, or anything else really. I'm just someone who discovered a love for cooking and creating healthy meals. All recipes require no more than basic kitchen equipment and no advanced techniques.
I have no affiliations and all my recipe's WW points are calculated using the Weight Watcher App Recipe Builder and the numbers can vary depending on brands of ingredients.
