Deconstructed Cabbage Rolls

Everything you love about cabbage roll, but no time us used blanching, stuffing, and rolling the cabbage leaves! Just some chopping and a large pot are required for this meal

WW My Way Smart Points: 5 Green, 3 Blue, 3 Purple

Cooking the Turkey and Onions

I used a big soup pot to make these so that I would have lots of room for the uncooked cabbage. I sprayed the bottom of the soup pot with non-stick spray and then added in the ground turkey and onions and cooked that up. I seasoned the turkey with some paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. While the turkey was cooking I chopped the cabbage into strips.

Adding the Cabbage

Once the turkey was cooked I added in a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes with the juices included. Next, I added in the cabbage strips and then covered the pot. I let the cabbage steam down until it was softened.

Finishing Touches

Once the cabbage has steamed down, I then spooned out the deconstructed cabbage rolls into bowls, and topped each bowl with the desired amount of cheese
