Chicken breasts slow cooked with apple cider, apples, and onions for a sweet and savory meal full of flavor! Serve the Apple Cider Chicken over a baked sweet potato for a fabulous filling meal!

Making the Chicken
To start things off, I cut up a large onion into small pieces. I then chopped up 3 medium apples into small, bite sized pieces and place them both on the bottom of a slow cooker. I then seasoned the chicken breast with garlic powder and placed them on top of the apples and onion. I poured in the apple cider and cooked the chicken on High for 6 hours.
I then took a fork and shredded the chicken and mixed it into the apples and onionWhile the chicken was cooking, I baked 4 sweet potatoes at 350 for 90 minutes. When the sweet potatoes were soft, I scooped out the insides and topped the sweet potato with the Apple Cider Chicken!
