Dumping it In
I placed the chicken breasts on the bottom of the greased slowcooker.
I then added in the chicken stock, garlic, chopped onion, cans of rinsed beans, liquid smoke, BBQ Sauce, chilies, and spices. I gently mixed it together, Covered, and cooked it on high for 3 hours - low for 6
**If you want to make this on the stove, add the chicken to the bottom of the greased pot and add everything on top of it, cook it on high for 30 minutes, shred the chicken, and cook for 5 more minutes**
Finishing Touches
After 3 hours, I took two forks and shredded the chicken inside the pot. Once shredded I stirred and cooked for an additional hour.
While the shredded chicken is finishing, I cooked up the turkey bacon in the microwave and crumbled it up, setting a handful aside for topping. Right before serving I added the bacon to the slowcooker and mixed until distributed evenly
Serve this delicious chili with cheese, greek yogurt, and extra bacon topping for a yummy meal!
