Ginger Soy Salmon

Taking some delicious salmon fillets and coating them in this tasty ginger soy sauce was a great decision after being at the ball park with beers and brats all day. The salmon and veggies were a perfect way to end the night.

Saucing Things Up

To make the absolutely fabtastic sauce, I started by pulling out my grater. I took the onion and grated that down and then took the fresh ginger and grated that until I had about 2 tsp.

I put the soy sauce and in a small bowl and added in the onion, ginger, garlic, salt pepper, and paprika and stirred until it was all combined nicely.

Slathering on the Good Stuff

Once the sauce was ready, I got my salmon fillets on a plate. I then brushed the ginger soy sauce onto the salmon making sure to coat them really well.

I let them sit out on the counter for a bit to really take on those flavors while I got the grill and veggies ready. We just cut up some red onion, zucchini, and yellow squash, toss them in the seasoning salt and grilled them along side the salmon.

Grilling Master

When the grill is hot, throw the veggies on 3-5 minutes before the salmon. Place the salmon directly on the grill rack and cook for 7 minutes on each side. Toss the veggies from time to time to allow even cooking.

After the salmon has cooked on both sides, flip it back so the skin is on the grill, and brush on some more of the sauce to make sure those flavors get well incorporated. Take them off the grill and Serve Away!!

Sprinkle each fillet with some sesame seeds to put the final touch of tasty on!
