Spicy Sriracha Dip

This dip has a nice slow burn to it, just right right amount of heat with a little cooling from the tangy Greek yogurt base. It was perfect with pretzels and was all gone by the end of the night!

Mixing it Up

This dip is totally customizable to your heat liking, and I would highly recommend tasting as you go and add little by little so you don't over do it on the spice! I started with 2 containers of Non-Fat Plain Greek yogurt and a tablespoon of sriracha and mixed really well. Then I added in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and stirred it all up together.

I added 3/4 cup of reduced fat cheddar cheese to the mix and stirred well. This is where the tasting comes in. I added 1 medium jalapeño finely diced up to the mix, but I like things spicy. If you don't like heat, I would recommend leaving that ingredient out of use less.

Little by little add in more sriracha until you reach your desired heat level. It is important to note that if you let the dip sit for a period of time before you serve, the dip will absorb the flavors. So I would be cautious of adding too much spice before hand. Leave it on the mild end until ready to serve. Then add all the heat you'd like!

We used pretzel flats to eat this dip with and I absolutely loved it! I would imagine regular tortilla chips, crackers, or normal pretzels would all be good with it as well.
